Hai there, about two months later we as Indonesian will have a commemoration day of ouy country. Yaa, it's held on August. Independence Day of Indonesia!!! For you who want to be a speaker in that day, here I give you an example of speech. Hope it will be a reference for you...
Assalamualaikum
Today, exactly on 17 August 2017, the Indonesian nation commemorates the 71th indonesian independence. History day, never forgotten, always be remembered and celebrated. Because on this date and this month indonesia was born. Indonesia is free from the oppressive clutchesof invanders. Know that independence was purely the grace of Allah SWT, accompanied the struggle of the heroes who tirelessly, was never retreat, do not despair, all for the sake of our beloved Indonesia.
The heroes attempt to ged rid of the invaders is not easy. Lives are at stake. Although very limited weapons, but thanks to the help of Allah, and accompanied by spirit of the fighters, the eventual victory in the hans of our heroes, and occupiers go away from our beloved earth, Indonesia.
We are now living in the homeland Indonesia must be proud and grateful to our leaders for its success in developing in all fields. Indonesia forward for the welfare of its people. The success of development in indonesia is already being experienced, both in cities and in villages. We should be aware of that, everything can be realized because of the good cooperation, united, and vibrant between one and the other.
We as the younger generation should be able to support this development by fully participating actively dropped, and protect and preserve the form of the development already, do not even make noise, damage, disturbing the public peace, disturbing security. If it is happen too, so that is a younger generation that does not want to fill out and forward the freedom of Indonesia. It is called the younger generation is not thinking rationally, just having fun making a fuss, even against their leaders. As we know that in Islam, peoplr should be submissive and obedient to God, the prophet, and all of the leaders.
Still you remember about one phrase said by our first president, Soekarno, “give me 10 youth, the i will shake the world”.
If we examine deeply about the meaning of that sentence, is very large and meaningful. How not, the role of youth formidable able to change a nation considered by one eye to be a nation of exceptional. It can be all done if we have the strong young man, brave, unyielding, and have a good characteristic.
But unfortunately, the current role of the youth in our country is very minimal, even invisible. If we reremember our heroes struggle to achieve independence, it’s a shame if the outcome of thier struggle was not appreciated. The youth todai is very alarming, they are more likely to be individualism, hedonism, and even now many sacrilegious crime that occured among youth. It can undermine the spirit of nationalism of youth.
If the condition of our youth nowdays as i have mentioned before, then we should realize that the true spirit of patriotism and nationalism must be nurtured from an early age. Do not underestimate the importance of having a soul patriot, because through attitude and patriotism are not aware it can contribute a great role in establishing harmony among human beings, respecting differences of race, ethnicity, and caste.
My beloved friends,
With the reality of the condition of the youth in our country at this time, does not necessarily make us become discouraged. We as the younger generation is aware of this error happens we should make it as motivation to begin to care about the fate of our nation in the future. Because if it had been able to do, it would be nice for the next generation to imitate.
So, let us as young people to bounce back, fight for the Indonesian nation, develop the country and always excited and optimistic to give the best to our beloved homeland. We can prove it by learning hard and achievement, the name of nation on the world stage, fill the freedom of Indonesia as well as possible and with the spirit of nationalism and patriotism.
Rest asured we are able to make changes to our beloved nation, and keep passion for all of us.
